There’s more than one way to be part of Untold beyond a stage. We run workshops for anyone who wants to build craft alongside the community, no production attached. Beyond that, keep an eye out here: parties, talent pools, and one-off callouts pop up between seasons, and this is where we’ll announce them first.

ABOUT US

UNTOLD COLLECTIV is a London theatre company founded by artists from under-represented backgrounds. Our flagship programme, SHORT& micro-plays, stages five new 15-minute plays at once, five rooms, five times a night, every play a world premiere. We are also the producers behind Latinx Scratch, a development night dedicated to creatives of Latin-American origin. We’re led by…

SAMMY ATTALAH, a London-based actor trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, where he completed his postgraduate acting course in 2016, alongside a degree in Creative Advertising from University of the Arts London. Of Ecuadorian, Lebanese and Egyptian heritage and fluent in English and Spanish, he brings a cross-cultural perspective to everything he makes. In 2023, he co-curated the Latin American Season at The Actors Centre, bringing 23 Latinx productions to the stage. He co-founded and produces Untold Collectiv, and founded LatinX Actors UK, a directory and community platform for Latin American actors in the UK.

RAQUEL BARTRA, a Peruvian writer and producer based in London whose playwriting work has been selected for multiple showings at places such as the Underbelly Boulevard Soho, Drayton Arms Theatre and The Lambeth Fringe. Her career has run in parallel across film and live events, including time on the organising team behind LOCO, the BAFTA-qualifying London Comedy Film Festival, building a practical, cross-format grip on how stories get made and put in front of an audience. That background feeds directly into her creative work, which reaches for a cinematic sensibility: comedy, spectacle and emotional intensity used to explore the systems, political, social and otherwise, that shape how we behave and what we believe.
